All That Matters
As you know, I lost +16% of profits last month. See details here.
At first, I was really frustrated and heart broken; but I eventually realized that I need to work on what I have now. I let go of the past and started to trade with the real money I have because it is all that matters right now.

Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde
Did you get shaken out of Meralco today?
A shakeout happens when big players intentionally drive the stock price down (Mr Hyde) for various reasons. This event is usually followed by sudden price increase (Dr Jeckyll) because price always goes back in line with economics of demand and supply.

Take A Small Loss Then Move On
This cartoon guy wasn’t able to prevent his trading mistakes from turning into disaster. He didn’t keep his losses small; he didn’t move on.
I learned this lesson the hard way during my early trading days. If not for regular cash infusion and a string of luck in dividend stocks, I’d be stomped out already.
Being wrong is not a choice, staying wrong is.
Surfer’s Wave
Trend following is like surfing this gigantic wave. During the ride, there is no Past, there is no Future, only the Present exists. I learned from previous trades that convincing the market you’re right on a nonexistent future can be very expensive. Now, I just ride the trend, I don’t fight it. It’s a struggle within but I’m winning.
